Global Science Productions, founded by Dr. Elliott Haimoff, celebrated its 35th anniversary this year. Since 1990, Dr. Haimoff’s company has been at the forefront of science television, producing award-winning documentaries that span topics from space exploration to cutting-edge medical technologies. A Cambridge-educated biologist, Dr. Haimoff pioneered the use of video technology in animal behavior research and played a pivotal role in establishing wildlife reserves in China during the 1980s. His transition to television led to groundbreaking science programs on PBS, including segments that earned Emmy awards. Global Science Productions continues this legacy, producing over 200 full-length documentaries that educate and entertain, bringing complex scientific concepts to global audiences in over 35 countries. Renowned for tackling controversial topics like human cloning and genetic engineering, the company has been hailed as a leader in science programming, even serving as the flagship for The Einstein Channel's launch. As Dr. Haimoff and his team embark on new projects, their mission remains clear: to educate, stimulate, and inspire viewers, making science accessible and engaging for all.
